SHADOW's Adnan Yenal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 4th minute of play. Dante Lacasa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dobromir Pierz in the 6th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tobiasz Zbytniewski in the 8th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Adnan Yenal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lautaro Mancebo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lautaro Mancebo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mexico's Joel Gaona got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 21 minutes into the match, Lautaro Mancebo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Adnan Yenal. SHADOW's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lautaro Mancebo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After a rather tough play, SHADOW's Maciej Mroczynski got a free kick in the 24th minute. Alberto Tafalla's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Adnan Yenal read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. Mexico's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Joel Gaona in the 27th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Joel Gaona in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Adnan Yenal saved SHADOW from getting behind. Joel Gaona took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Adnan Yenal. Adnan Yenal dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Lautaro Mancebo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Adnan Yenal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 38th minute Lautaro Mancebo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adnan Yenal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edgar Hatman received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Dante Lacasa came out and tried to block the shot, but Edgar Hatman slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 41st minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The crowd rose to their feet as Joel Gaona kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Adnan Yenal. That made the score 1-4 in the 57 minute of play. When the match had gone on for 60 minutes, Joel Gaona took a quick shot and it went in 1-5 without a chance for Adnan Yenal to make any attempt to save it. In the 63rdth minute of the game Facundo Cadaval who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SHADOW's Adnan Yenal was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A well-hit corner resulted in Luca Zorita heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Jan Tuliszewski hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Boguslaw Dytrych scored 3-5 in the 86th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dante Lacasa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Mexico booed when SHADOW was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Waclaw Waselewicz didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 95th minute the ball was on its way in behind SHADOW's goalkeeper Adnan Yenal, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The SHADOW supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Mexico's performance. The match ended with a win for Mexico.
