Jaime Pardo kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Wlodzimierz Huchro's late challenge caught a Paraguay's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Wlodzimierz Huchro helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Paraguay booed when LKS.SIEKIERA PIŁA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wlodzimierz Huchro didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 27th minute of the match Primitivo Escribano sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Norbert Gniewek skillfully saved the ball. A hard shot 28 in the game by Jaime Pardo from a close distance when the talented Norbert Gniewek managed to make a qualified save. LKS.SIEKIERA PIŁA's players were relieved. Jaime Pardo got in the 30th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Norbert Gniewek handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Jaime Pardo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Norbert Gniewek read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. A well-hit corner resulted in Juan Diego Tenorio heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Hector Covarrubias's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 37thth minute, Norbert Gniewek skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After a rather tough play, LKS.SIEKIERA PIŁA's Miromir Kornaszewski got a free kick in the 40th minute. If Jaime Pardo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 46 played minutes Paraguay got a freekick which was hit by Hector Covarrubias. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Zbyszko Dulka made a kick off. Jaime Pardo might have been able to make a better finish in the 53rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Norbert Gniewek. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jaime Pardo ran back to his position shaking his head. LKS.SIEKIERA PIŁA's Norbert Gniewek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jaime Pardo in the 58th minute of play. After having played for 59 minutes, Hector Covarrubias managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Paraguay's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hector Covarrubias was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 61st minute, Juan Diego Tenorio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 62 minutes into the match, Zenon Glozor dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jacobo Nores, 0-2. If Jaime Pardo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jaime Pardo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Norbert Gniewek tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jaime Pardo took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Norbert Gniewek. Norbert Gniewek dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Raul Venegas got his second yellow card in the match during the 89th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 89th minute, Raul Venegas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 93 played minutes, LKS.SIEKIERA PIŁA's Zbyszko Dulka shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jacobo Nores came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in LKS.SIEKIERA PIŁA reached it. Hector Covarrubias struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Norbert Gniewek didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Paraguay.
