Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Zacarias Francesco got the match started through his kick off. The audience was convinced that Zacarias Francesco's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julio Vera was relentless in the 34th minute of the game. Characate FC's Benjamin Price played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 35th minute of play. 35 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Leopoldo Afonso succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-1 in the 44th playminute. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Daniel Zorita was the one to do the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Characate FC's zone, Daniel Zorita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benjamin Price came out of the goal and Daniel Zorita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A hard shot 81 in the game by Daniel Zorita from a close distance when the talented Benjamin Price managed to make a qualified save. Characate FC's players were relieved.
