Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Uruguay's Francisco Seco started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Francisco Seco fell near the penalty area in the 2nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Uruguay's protests and gave Francisco Seco a yellow card for diving instead. A throw-in in the 4th minute of the game was made by Uriel Paio with David Lidman as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Gerardo Santikurtz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Characate FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Gerardo Santikurtz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joaquin Gayoso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Characate FC getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Serafino Paez hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jaime Cazalla in the 7th minute of play forced Characate FC's goalkeeper Benjamin Price to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 10th minute Zacarias Francesco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joaquin Gayoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Benjamin Price took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Gisbert, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Through an outstanding action, after 16 minutes, Joaquin Gayoso successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 22nd minute Gerardo Santikurtz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joaquin Gayoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leopoldo Afonso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joaquin Gayoso having to interfere. Uriel Paio kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. With his leg Joaquin Gayoso managed to avoid a goal in the 33rdth minute, when Characate FC's Zacarias Francesco fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The supporters of Characate FC booed when Uruguay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Camilo Franco didn't get a good kick on the ball. Camilo Franco charged in rather forcefully in the 37th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Camilo Franco the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Nestor Gaxan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joaquin Gayoso having to interfere. Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save Uruguay from getting a goal against them. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Zacarias Francesco stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52ndth minute of the game Zacarias Francesco who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Joaquin Gayoso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leopoldo Afonso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 65th match minute, Uruguay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kevin Carballal to maneuver through the defense. Emre Can's long shot made the audience stand up and applaude when it rumbled by Joaquin Gayoso on his right side and into the goal. 66 minutes into the game it was 1-0. In the 68th minute, Emre Can hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A hard shot 70 in the game by Maximiliano Escribano from a close distance when the talented Benjamin Price managed to make a qualified save. Characate FC's players were relieved. Leopoldo Afonso hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. In the 76th minute, Zacarias Francesco ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Joaquin Gayoso was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Joaquin Gayoso stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Leopoldo Afonso's shot from short distance in the 81st minute. 82 minutes into the match, Characate FC's goal looked a bit too open when Francisco Seco came free, but Benjamin Price reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 88th minute, Emre Can hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nestor Gaxan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joaquin Gayoso having to interfere. Characate FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Uruguay for a fine match.
