After a defensive mix-up in Quebra Ossos FC's zone, Eduardo Fontirroig stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Richard Breckenfeld came out of the goal and Eduardo Fontirroig tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 34 minutes into the match, Bolivia's goal looked a bit too open when Aírton Queirós came free, but Camilo Freixa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julio Chicote in the 37th minute of play forced Quebra Ossos FC's goalkeeper Richard Breckenfeld to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Richard Breckenfeld showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eduardo Fontirroig in the 38th minute of the match. Quebra Ossos FC's Richard Breckenfeld proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Quebra Ossos FC from getting a goal against them. In the 41st minute, Eduardo Fontirroig reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Richard Breckenfeld. The goal made the score 2-0. 46 minutes into the match, Quebra Ossos FC's goalkeeper Richard Breckenfeld had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mario Fernandino. Richard Breckenfeld made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eduardo Fontirroig in the 47th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

In the 53rd minute, Eduardo Fontirroig ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Richard Breckenfeld was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. After a rather tough play, Quebra Ossos FC's Elói Branco got a free kick in the 58th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Mario Fernandino managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bolivia's supporters rose to their feet, but Mario Fernandino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Richard Breckenfeld breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Eduardo Fontirroig received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Richard Breckenfeld tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Richard Breckenfeld showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julio Chicote, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. In the 70thth minute of the game Alfonso de la Cruz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Quebra Ossos FC's Richard Breckenfeld was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 71 minutes into the match, Julio Chicote had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Richard Breckenfeld. Quebra Ossos FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Julio Chicote was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. In the 75th minute, Julio Chicote left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bolivia fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. When Eduardo Fontirroig fell near the penalty area in the 77th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bolivia's protests and gave Eduardo Fontirroig a yellow card for diving instead. After 77 played minutes Bolivia got a freekick which was hit by Eduardo Fontirroig. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfonso de la Cruz in the 80th minute of play forced Quebra Ossos FC's goalkeeper Richard Breckenfeld to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Richard Breckenfeld didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alfonso de la Cruz went, in the 82nd minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. Luís Gustavo de Lima fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Camilo Freixa having to interfere. Alfonso de la Cruz scored 7-0 in the 90th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Richard Breckenfeld, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. There was no doubt that Bolivia were the better team. Bolivia's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
