The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Aírton Queirós was the one to do the kick off. Juan Rubio came free in the 92nd minute and tried to tip the ball over Richard Breckenfeld, but to the joy of Quebra Ossos FC's supporters the ball hit the crossbar and out. Richard Breckenfeld was a little too slow when Eliseo Noboa got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 93rd minute. The score was now 0-4. When the final whistle went the supporters of Costa Rica were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Quebra Ossos FC side.
