Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elmar Bruch, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Jonathan Ferrant was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Elmar Bruch showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 46 minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Elmar Bruch stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elmar Bruch in the 52nd minute of the match. After 54 minutes Venezuela's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Iréné Reyna who took care of the corner kick. In the 57th minute Elmar Bruch shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Elmar Bruch stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Elmar Bruch tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Patricio Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ricky Blake having to interfere. Ricky Blake made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tomas Illescas in the 66th minute. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elmar Bruch, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Roberto Pernambucano was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 72 minutes into the match. 71 minutes into the game, one of Clube dos pro:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Kauan Albuquerque fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. After 87 played minutes Clube dos pro got a freekick which was hit by Elmar Bruch. After 88 played minutes, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ricky Blake came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Venezuela reached it. Tomas Illescas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ricky Blake having to make a save. In the 95th match minute, Clube dos pro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roger Tinoco to maneuver through the defense.
