This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Pedro Manzanares as he didn't even see the shot coming. In the 18th minute, Sabaneta FC's Antonio Masciarelli dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. If Axel Montenegro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Kevin Mier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Axel Montenegro in the 22nd minute of the match. Kevin Mier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abram Sarmiento in the 24th minute of play. Colombia's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Axel Montenegro in the 25th minute. The corner ended in Luis Cazalla almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Sabaneta FC's Kevin Mier did a great save. Axel Montenegro scored 3-1 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Kevin Mier, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rian Giggs got free with Pedro Manzanares in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 32 played minutes Colombia got a freekick which was hit by Santino Seco. Kevin Mier showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Axel Montenegro, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. After a rather tough play, Sabaneta FC's Zeru Recino got a free kick in the 36th minute. 38 minutes into the match, Colombia's goal looked a bit too open when Antonio Masciarelli came free, but Pedro Manzanares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pedro Manzanares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rian Giggs in the 38th minute of play. In the 39th minute of the match Sabaneta FC got a corner. Colombia's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Fabian Lawrence ran over to the corner to take the kick. Rian Giggs could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Pedro Manzanares made a huge save. Kevin Mier stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Abram Sarmiento's shot from short distance in the 47th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Abram Sarmiento in the 47th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kevin Mier saved Sabaneta FC from getting behind.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Abram Sarmiento stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Zeru Recino hit a great freekick 50 minutes into the match. When Axel Montenegro came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Colombia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Axel Montenegro couldn't finish the play. Pedro Manzanares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Petri Romuroso in the 56th minute of the match. In the 59th minute Abram Sarmiento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kevin Mier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Colombia booed when Sabaneta FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rian Giggs didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sabaneta FC's Yoel Magarinos was substituted for Firman Urquizu. A collision led to Sabaneta FC getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Rian Giggs hit a great ball. Bonifaco Corrillos hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. After 64 minutes of play, Colombia's Abram Sarmiento made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kevin Mier was left in no man's land by his defense there! Colombia made a substitution. Abram Secada replaced Axel Montenegro. Yoel Magarinos kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Kevin Mier was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Kevin Mastache. In the 73rd match minute, Sabaneta FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bonifaco Corrillos to maneuver through the defense. In the 74th minute Santino Seco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kevin Mier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Santino Seco's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kevin Mier was relentless in the 74th minute of the game. Sabaneta FC's Stanislaw Cempa was substituted for Antonio Masciarelli. In the 77th minute, Orlando Tafalla hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Abram Secada's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kevin Mier was relentless in the 82nd minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Abram Secada in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kevin Mier prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cássio Correia in the 83rd minute of play. The supporters of Colombia booed when Sabaneta FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yoel Magarinos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Abram Secada could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Kevin Mier made a huge save. Rian Giggs took the ball and in the 90 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pedro Manzanares. Pedro Manzanares dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-2. Sabaneta FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Colombia for a fine match.
