A nice corner shot did that Luz Tejedor got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Frits Sap quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Wu Ping Zhen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 39th minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Frits Sap saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 45th match minute, Peru was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eliseo Mina to maneuver through the defense. After 46 played minutes Peru got a freekick which was hit by Anthony Alvarado. The audience thought a goal was coming when Qi Si got free with Rolando Noboa in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.

The wind increased when Naim Ünal made the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Alexandrino Sesimbra left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ÓKINJÔ FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. With an all-out effort, Peru's Frits Sap threw himself towards the right post 89 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Rafael Gallo, which otherwise would have been placed in the net.
