Sabaneta FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Chile the free kick. Chile made a substitution. Julio Aguayo replaced Guillermo Fontirroig. After a rather tough play, Sabaneta FC's Brun Bucaran got a free kick in the 4th minute. Thiago Pliego took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rian Giggs, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sabaneta FC were awarded a corner in the 9th minute after Chile's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Fabian Lawrence took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Fabian Lawrence got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Thiago Pliego quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Sabaneta FC's Kevin Mier proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save Sabaneta FC from getting a goal against them. Thiago Pliego showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rian Giggs, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rian Giggs in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Thiago Pliego prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Thiago Pliego showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rian Giggs in the 59th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Chile's zone, Stanislaw Cempa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Thiago Pliego came out of the goal and Stanislaw Cempa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thiago Pliego made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cássio Correia in the 64th minute. Chile's Mariano Lacasa got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sabaneta FC made a substitution. Yoel Magarinos replaced Firman Urquizu. Chile's Thiago Pliego played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rian Giggs in the 68th minute of play. In the 71st minute the ball was on its way in behind Sabaneta FC's goalkeeper Kevin Mier, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Rian Giggss short, quick shot in the 73rdth minute got Thiago Pliego to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. With his leg Thiago Pliego managed to avoid a goal in the 73rdth minute, when Sabaneta FC's Rian Giggs fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Mariano Lacasa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kevin Mier read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 75th minute of play. Kevin Mier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 80th minute of play. Thiago Pliego made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Yoel Magarinos sent off a good shot on target. After 82 played minutes Sabaneta FC got a freekick which was hit by Zeru Recino. In the 86th minute Mariano Lacasa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kevin Mier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Chile's Mariano Lacasa got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Kevin Mier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 96th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rian Giggs in the 97th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Thiago Pliego prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The Sabaneta FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
