Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Daniel Zorita made the kick off which started today's match. Daniel Zorita scored 0-1 in the 4th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Roman Matai, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Roman Matai made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 7th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Michel Batistuta in the 8th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the last second Julio Vera throw himself and got hold of the ball when Michel Batistuta in the 8thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. When Ecuador's Daniel Zorita in the 12th minute got a chance for a shot 12th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye STAL ST WOLA's goalie prevented a goal. STAL ST WOLA's Roman Matai played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 15th minute of play. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Michel Batistutas short, quick shot in the 21stth minute got Julio Vera to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. STAL ST WOLA's Roman Matai played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 23rd minute of play. In the 26th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roman Matai saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mikolaj Lech took the ball and in the 28 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Julio Vera. Julio Vera dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Roman Matai took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Roman Matai tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 36 played minutes STAL ST WOLA got a freekick which was hit by Damian Hodas. After a defensive mix-up in STAL ST WOLA's zone, Cristian Sancho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Roman Matai came out of the goal and Cristian Sancho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 43rd minute, Cristian Sancho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Agustín Saelices hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Michel Batistuta to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51stth minute of the game Zygmunt Bielejewski who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. STAL ST WOLA's Roman Matai proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save STAL ST WOLA from getting a goal against them. In the 62nd match minute, STAL ST WOLA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Damian Hodas to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 63rd minute of play forced STAL ST WOLA's goalkeeper Roman Matai to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Daniel Zorita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 78 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Cristian Sancho. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zygmunt Bielejewski in the 79th minute of play. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Michel Batistuta in the 80th minute of play. Roman Matai made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 84th minute. After 92 played minutes STAL ST WOLA got a freekick which was hit by Damian Hodas. In the 94th minute, Cristian Sancho left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ecuador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. When the match was over Ecuador could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than STAL ST WOLA throughout the match.
