The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the match, Les Bistouquettes Bleues's Tim Vranken sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Thiago Pliego narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Thiago Pliego came out of the goal in the 8th minute to try and stop a shot by Les Bistouquettes Bleues's Thananiti Cheewawipat. But to his dismay, Thananiti Cheewawipat quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. A well-hit corner resulted in Bryan Creemers heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Willem-Jan Hollanders took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Orlando Casaus, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 29 minutes into the match, Les Bistouquettes Bleues's goalkeeper Willem-Jan Hollanders had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mariano Lacasa. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tim Vranken in the 30th minute of play forced Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Chile fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

In the 54th minute, Les Bistouquettes Bleues's Thananiti Cheewawipat ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Thiago Pliego. Thiago Pliego yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. Kenny Niewens kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Orlando Casaus received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Willem-Jan Hollanders tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 61st minute the ball was on its way in behind Les Bistouquettes Bleues's goalkeeper Willem-Jan Hollanders, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With his leg Thiago Pliego managed to avoid a goal in the 64thth minute, when Les Bistouquettes Bleues's Thananiti Cheewawipat fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 67th match minute, Les Bistouquettes Bleues was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bryan Creemers to maneuver through the defense. Les Bistouquettes Bleues made a substitution. Georges Grün replaced Kenny Niewens. In the 69th minute, Bryan Creemers hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Willem-Jan Hollanders showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Orlando Casaus in the 72nd minute of the match. Dany-Adams Coeckelberghs fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thiago Pliego having to interfere. Les Bistouquettes Bleues made a substitution. Oihan De Toro replaced Tim Vranken. Thananiti Cheewawipat was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 78th minute. Les Bistouquettes Bleues's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. 82 minutes into the match, Les Bistouquettes Bleues's goal looked a bit too open when Mariano Lacasa came free, but Willem-Jan Hollanders reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mariano Lacasa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Willem-Jan Hollanders having to make a save. Giovanni Inglebert kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Willem-Jan Hollanders showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Orlando Casaus in the 93rd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Les Bistouquettes Bleues's zone, Mariano Lacasa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Willem-Jan Hollanders came out of the goal and Mariano Lacasa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
