Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Edmundo Espiga made the kick off which started today's match. After some careless play in the New England Minas defense, Sebastian Villa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Brett Ladd. The New England Minas fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Brett Ladd should have stopped the shot. Edmundo Espiga could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 7th minute of the match, but Brett Ladd made a huge save. Sebastian Villa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Valentín Carvallo kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Lautaro Navarro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ignacy Opalinski's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. A hard shot 14 in the game by Edmundo Espiga from a close distance when the talented Brett Ladd managed to make a qualified save. New England Minas's players were relieved. In the 15th minute, Ignacy Opalinski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Edmundo Espiga's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Brett Ladd read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. 22 minutes into the match, Honduras's Sebastian Villa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Brett Ladd narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 26 minutes into the match, New England Minas's goal looked a bit too open when Edmundo Espiga came free, but Brett Ladd reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edmundo Espiga was extremely unlucky when he, in the 28th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. In the 29th match minute, New England Minas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nathan Whitaker to maneuver through the defense. Sebastian Villa took the ball and in the 30 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Brett Ladd. Brett Ladd dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. In the 33rd minute, Edmundo Espiga made a precise shot to the right of Brett Ladd. New England Minas's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. When Anthony Faturrahman fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored New England Minas's protests and gave Anthony Faturrahman a yellow card for diving instead. After 36 played minutes New England Minas got a freekick which was hit by Anthony Faturrahman. Brett Ladd took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Moises Tafalla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Sebastian Villa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Ignacy Opalinski made the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the game, Ignacy Opalinski was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. New England Minas's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Honduras the free kick. The audience was convinced that Edmundo Espiga's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Brett Ladd was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Nikitas Papaiakovou managed to get in a good position for a shot. New England Minas's supporters rose to their feet, but Nikitas Papaiakovou was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lautaro Navarro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Nikitas Papaiakovou received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Lautaro Navarro came out and tried to block the shot, but Nikitas Papaiakovou slotted it home off the left post making it 3-1 in the 67th minute. The audience was convinced that Edmundo Espiga's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Brett Ladd was relentless in the 73rd minute of the game. Nathan Whitaker kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Honduras's Lautaro Navarro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ignacy Opalinski in the 78th minute of play. Honduras's Lautaro Navarro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save Honduras from getting a goal against them. The audience was convinced that Edmundo Espiga's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Brett Ladd was relentless in the 83rd minute of the game. Sebastian Villa's late challenge caught a New England Minas's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sebastian Villa helped the player get up and apologised. After 83 played minutes Honduras got a freekick which was hit by Sebastian Villa. Lautaro Navarro acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 84th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Nathan Whitaker. In the 87th minute Moises Tafalla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brett Ladd saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 88 minutes, Edmundo Espiga made it 4-1 with a short kick to the right side. New England Minas's Brett Ladd tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Lautaro Navarro was a little too slow when Nathan Whitaker got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 92nd minute. The score was now 4-2. 96 minutes into the game, Honduras's Sebastian Villa nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Brett Ladd made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-2. When the referee ended the match the Honduras players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
