Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Thananiti Cheewawipat took the kick off in the first half of the match. Tim Vranken kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. With a little luck, Mexico's Dante Lacasa got control of the ball when Thananiti Cheewawipat tried to sneak it across the goal line. Dante Lacasa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bryan Creemers in the 13th minute. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bryan Creemers, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Facundo Cadaval had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Mexico's Luca Rouco got a free kick in the 26th minute. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thananiti Cheewawipat in the 27th minute of play. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tim Vranken in the 28th minute of play. After 32 minutes Les Bistouquettes Bleues's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Joel Gaona who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Mexico's Joel Gaona to fire away a dangerous shot which Willem-Jan Hollanders despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 42nd match minute, Mexico was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lorenzo Cazalla to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Mexico's Felix Luque got a free kick in the 45th minute. After 46 played minutes Mexico got a freekick which was hit by Facundo Cadaval. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Joel Gaona to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Les Bistouquettes Bleues getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Ryan De Werdt hit a great ball. In the 55th minute Joel Gaona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Willem-Jan Hollanders saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Willem-Jan Hollanders took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Gaona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 60 minutes of play, Les Bistouquettes Bleues's Tim Vranken made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dante Lacasa was left in no man's land by his defense there! Les Bistouquettes Bleues made a substitution. Arsene Van Hamme replaced Ryan De Werdt. After a rather tough play, Les Bistouquettes Bleues's Jeremey De Messemaecker got a free kick in the 67th minute. Joel Gaona's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Willem-Jan Hollanders read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 67th minute of play. Les Bistouquettes Bleues's Willem-Jan Hollanders proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save Les Bistouquettes Bleues from getting a goal against them. After 72 played minutes Les Bistouquettes Bleues got a freekick which was hit by Tim Vranken. After a defensive mix-up in Les Bistouquettes Bleues's zone, Alberto Tafalla stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Willem-Jan Hollanders came out of the goal and Alberto Tafalla tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tim Vranken, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alberto Tafalla got free with Willem-Jan Hollanders in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A sloppy throw-in by Oihan De Toro in the 89th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Mexico's Felix Luque. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Gaona in the 91st minute of play forced Les Bistouquettes Bleues's goalkeeper Willem-Jan Hollanders to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Les Bistouquettes Bleues had won after a very even match.
