The supporters of Deportivo Pomelo Nenene booed when Panama was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Isidoro Sarmiento didn't get a good kick on the ball. Danial Boon blasted a shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marcos Cotilla having to make a save. Marcos Cotilla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Danial Boon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marcos Cotilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Danial Boon in the 11th minute of play. Abraham Alguacil's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 17thth minute, Albino Maiorga skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Abraham Alguacil had several of the Deportivo Pomelo Nenene's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 17 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Albino Maiorga as he didn't even see the shot coming. Dylan Sarmiento hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. In the 22nd minute of the match Panama got a corner. Deportivo Pomelo Nenene's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Abraham Alguacil ran over to the corner to take the kick. 27 minutes into the match, Danial Boon had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marcos Cotilla. Panama's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Danial Boon was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. In the 33rd minute Alexandre Tepedino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Cotilla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fragiskos Fitriansyah during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Deportivo Pomelo Nenene's Fragiskos Fitriansyah got a free kick in the 44th minute. Panama's Marcos Cotilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alexandre Tepedino in the 46th minute of play. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Tomas Berganza made the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Danial Boon's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marcos Cotilla was relentless in the 60th minute of the game. Albino Maiorga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abraham Alguacil in the 64th minute of the match. Jose Carita kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Deportivo Pomelo Nenene's Gaspar Pomelov was substituted for Alexandre Tepedino. Deportivo Pomelo Nenene's Ezequiel Lluques was substituted for Gong Jun Jian. In the 67th match minute, Panama was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jose Carita to maneuver through the defense. Marcos Cotilla stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Liu Feng Guang's shot from short distance in the 69th minute. Liu Feng Guang received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Marcos Cotilla tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 74th minute, Liu Feng Guang fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 83rd minute Abraham Alguacil shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Albino Maiorga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gaspar Pomelov could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Marcos Cotilla made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Liu Feng Guang got free with Marcos Cotilla in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 89th minute Liu Feng Guang shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Cotilla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 89 minutes into the game, Deportivo Pomelo Nenene's Liu Feng Guang nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marcos Cotilla made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. The supporters of Panama booed when Deportivo Pomelo Nenene was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Umea Sorzano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Miguel Miralles might have been able to make a better finish in the 96th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Albino Maiorga. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Miguel Miralles ran back to his position shaking his head. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Deportivo Pomelo Nenene walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
