Chile's Thiago Pliego proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save Chile from getting a goal against them. In the 30th minute Chile were awarded a corner. Mariano Lacasa went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led to Chile's Orlando Casaus getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. In the 34th minute Pinki Pied shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thiago Pliego saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 38thth minute of the game Pinki Pied who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chile's Thiago Pliego was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 39th minute, Pinki Pied left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Tre Starka fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Vukašin Hadžiđulbić took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mariano Lacasa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Chile's Thiago Pliego played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bennvar Galloway in the 44th minute of play. 48 minutes into the match, Chile's Orlando Casaus sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Vukašin Hadžiđulbić narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
The wind increased when Mariano Lacasa made the kick off in the second half. Thiago Pliego showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pinki Pied in the 51st minute of the match. Chile's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Mariano Lacasa in the 64th minute. The corner led Chile's Mariano Lacasa to fire away a dangerous shot which Vukašin Hadžiđulbić despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 67 minutes into the match, Tre Starka's goalkeeper Vukašin Hadžiđulbić had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mariano Lacasa. In the 72nd minute of the match Chile got a corner. Tre Starka's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Mariano Lacasa ran over to the corner to take the kick. After a rather tough play, Chile's Gerardo Pozo got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Tre Starka's Vukašin Hadžiđulbić played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Orlando Casaus in the 75th minute of play. In the 76thth minute of the game Pinki Pied who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chile's Thiago Pliego was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Chile's Pedro Indiano quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Frans Qvarnström, made in the 78th minute of the game. With a little luck, Tre Starka's Vukašin Hadžiđulbić got control of the ball when Mariano Lacasa tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thiago Pliego took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bennvar Galloway, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Stig Petersson made a great header on Tre Starka's corner, it was just that Chile's Thiago Pliego managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 94th minute, Chile's Mariano Lacasa dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. The Chile players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
