In the 30th minute Abraham Alguacil shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luis Toli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marcos Cotilla made an important save on a dangerous shot by Roque Ferrando in the 31st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Berganza in the 33rd minute of play forced C.A Juventud Peronista's goalkeeper Luis Toli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marcos Cotilla made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Franek Kluczyk sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Franek Kluczyk got free with Marcos Cotilla in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 41stth minute of the game Abraham Alguacil who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but C.A Juventud Peronista's Luis Toli was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The Panama fans' excitement grew in the 41st match minute when Panama's Abraham Alguacil looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Abraham Alguacil sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tomas Berganza stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the last second Luis Toli throw himself and got hold of the ball when Tomas Berganza in the 52ndth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. 55 minutes into the game, Felix Pancho was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. C.A Juventud Peronista's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Panama the free kick. After a rather tough play, Panama's Aaron Barrios got a free kick in the 56th minute. Marcos Cotilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roque Ferrando in the 59th minute of play. Luis Toli dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. Dylan Sarmiento hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Marcos Cotilla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sebastian Bambis, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. In the 90th minute, Tomas Berganza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marcos Cotilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastian Bambis in the 91st minute of play. 94 minutes into the match, Abraham Alguacil notched a goal, 1-4, to the right of C.A Juventud Peronista's Luis Toli. Luis Toli was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
