Chile's Thiago Pliego played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Di Le Jun in the 27th minute of play. After 30 minutes Chile's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Andres Tufiño who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Taltum FC's Andres Tufiño to fire away a dangerous shot which Thiago Pliego despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 31st match minute, Taltum FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Urko Vinuesa to maneuver through the defense. 37 minutes into the match, Taltum FC's goal looked a bit too open when Mariano Lacasa came free, but Zhang Hao Qing reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zhang Hao Qing came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by Chile's Mariano Lacasa. But to his dismay, Mariano Lacasa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Xavier Figueroa's late challenge caught a Taltum FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Xavier Figueroa helped the player get up and apologised. After 47 minutes, Andres Tufiño mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Taltum FC and the Chile players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Chile booed when Taltum FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andres Tufiño didn't get a good kick on the ball.

With his leg Zhang Hao Qing managed to avoid a goal in the 52ndth minute, when Chile's Mariano Lacasa fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The supporters of Chile booed when Taltum FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Di Le Jun didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thiago Pliego showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Flavio Cifuentes, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Flavio Cifuentes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Thiago Pliego tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thiago Pliego showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Di Le Jun in the 60th minute of the match. Taltum FC made a substitution. Obregón Pardemanos replaced Flavio Cifuentes. Thiago Pliego showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Obregón Pardemanos, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. 71 minutes into the match, Taltum FC's Obregón Pardemanos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Thiago Pliego narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 72nd minute, Obregón Pardemanos made a precise shot to the right of Thiago Pliego. Chile's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. Chile's supporters rose to their feet, but Mariano Lacasa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zhang Hao Qing breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thiago Pliego showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Obregón Pardemanos, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Thiago Pliego showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Obregón Pardemanos in the 81st minute of the match. In the 83rd minute, Mariano Lacasa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Zhang Hao Qing was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2.
