Pedro Manzanares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rigoberto Bastiaro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ivar Bjurström stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Axel Montenegro's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. Ivar Bjurström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kevin Mastache, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Axel Montenegro ran back to his position shaking his head. Ivar Bjurström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Axel Montenegro in the 35th minute of the match. Axel Montenegro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ivar Bjurström having to make a save. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rigoberto Bastiaro to make the kick off. Glorioso Deportivo Cali's Ivar Bjurström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kevin Mastache in the 50th minute of play. 52 minutes into the match, Colombia's Axel Montenegro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ivar Bjurström narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Glorioso Deportivo Cali's Gervasio Basallan got a free kick in the 53rd minute. John Stones made in the 73rd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Colombia's Antonio Indiano. In the 75th match minute, Glorioso Deportivo Cali was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gervasio Basallan to maneuver through the defense. Bartosz Wicherek recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 87th match minute, Glorioso Deportivo Cali was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gervasio Basallan to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Glorioso Deportivo Cali's Ivar Bjurström got control of the ball when Ignacio Mastache tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ignacio Mastache in the 92nd minute of play forced Glorioso Deportivo Cali's goalkeeper Ivar Bjurström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
