Mexico's Dante Lacasa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save Mexico from getting a goal against them. Zhang Hao Qing showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 28th minute of the match. In the 31stth minute of the game Flavio Cifuentes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mexico's Dante Lacasa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 34th minute Joel Gaona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zhang Hao Qing saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zhang Hao Qing made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 36th minute of play. After 39 minutes of play, Mexico's Alberto Tafalla made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Zhang Hao Qing was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 43 played minutes Taltum FC got a freekick which was hit by Flavio Cifuentes. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

62 minutes into the match, Taltum FC's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Gaona came free, but Zhang Hao Qing reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zhang Hao Qing made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 64th minute of play. When Joel Gaona came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Mexico fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joel Gaona couldn't finish the play. Taltum FC made a substitution. Obregón Pardemanos replaced Flavio Cifuentes. A collision led to Taltum FC getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Roldan Castellanos hit a great ball. Dante Lacasa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Obregón Pardemanos went, in the 78th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. Zhang Hao Qing showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Gaona, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Obregón Pardemanos in the 87th minute of play.
