Joaquin Gayoso was out of position in the 21 minute of play, and Pan Jian Yong capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Pan Jian Yong really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Uruguay's defense didn't have a chance, in the 27th minute, when Pan Jian Yong scored to the left of an out of position Joaquin Gayoso, making the score, 2-0. Joaquin Gayoso stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Pan Jian Yong's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. 38 minutes into the game, Arturo Carvallo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Uruguay's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lions United the free kick. In the 38th minute, Arturo Carvallo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Arturo Carvallo kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Pan Jian Yong made a kick off. Geert-Jan Coomans sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Joaquin Gayoso stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Pan Jian Yong's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. 56 minutes into the match, Lions United's goal looked a bit too open when Maximiliano Escribano came free, but Steve De Wilde reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pan Jian Yong's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Joaquin Gayoso read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 58th minute of play. Lions United were awarded a corner in the 59th minute after Uruguay's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gao Cheng Yun took the corner. The corner led Lions United's Gao Cheng Yun to fire away a dangerous shot which Joaquin Gayoso despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Pan Jian Yong's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Joaquin Gayoso read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 61st minute of play. 63 minutes into the game, Pan Jian Yong cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Joaquin Gayoso was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 66 minutes into the match, Uruguay's goal looked a bit too open when Pan Jian Yong came free, but Joaquin Gayoso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 68 minutes into the match, Pan Jian Yong had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Joaquin Gayoso. Uruguay's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Pan Jian Yong was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. After 70 minutes of play, Lions United's Pan Jian Yong made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Joaquin Gayoso was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 77th minute the ball was on its way in behind Uruguay's goalkeeper Joaquin Gayoso, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Francisco Seco could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Steve De Wilde made a huge save. Joaquin Gayoso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pan Jian Yong, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 82 minutes into the match, Pan Jian Yong notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso. Joaquin Gayoso was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Geert-Jan Coomans kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. In the 86th minute, Pan Jian Yong made a precise shot to the right of Joaquin Gayoso. Uruguay's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-0. After a rather tough play, Lions United's Geert-Jan Coomans got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Many of Uruguay's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Uruguay may have spent more time on the ball, but Lions United were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
