Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Abram Sarmiento took the kick off in the first half of the match. After 3 played minutes Matos Velhos got a freekick which was hit by Jiang Qing Lin. Matos Velhos were furious when Durval Meira was red carded, 4 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 4th minute of the game. One of Matos Velhos:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Colombia:s goal. Vito de Godoi had in the 6thth minute some difficulties stopping Axel Montenegro's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his right side, but he still managed to hold the ball After taking down the ball on Matos Velhos's corner Sabino Vilhena fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Pedro Manzanares quite easily take care of the ball. Jiang Qing Lin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Manzanares having to interfere. 14 minutes into the match, Colombia's goal looked a bit too open when Jiang Qing Lin came free, but Pedro Manzanares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adalberto Peres in the 25th minute of play forced Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kevin Mastache took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vito de Godoi. Vito de Godoi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Axel Montenegro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vito de Godoi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. Pedro Manzanares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jiang Qing Lin in the 33rd minute of the match. Pedro Manzanares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jiang Qing Lin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Matos Velhos's Vito de Godoi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abram Sarmiento in the 36th minute of play. After some careless play in the Colombia defense, Karl Nietlisbach kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pedro Manzanares. The Colombia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pedro Manzanares should have stopped the shot. In the 43rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Matos Velhos's goalkeeper Vito de Godoi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Vito de Godoi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Axel Montenegro in the 45th minute. When the match had gone on for 47 minutes, Axel Montenegro put it in 2-2 from a short distance just to the right of Vito de Godoi. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sabino Vilhena stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Axel Montenegro notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of Matos Velhos's Vito de Godoi. Vito de Godoi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Colombia from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Colombia booed when Matos Velhos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Generoso Silvino didn't get a good kick on the ball. Júlio Gentil hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. 67 minutes into the game, Pascual Carballar was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Colombia's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Matos Velhos the free kick. In the 67th minute, Pascual Carballar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Colombia made a substitution. Abram Secada replaced Axel Montenegro. Matos Velhos's Lee Beckford was substituted for Karl Nietlisbach. After a rather tough play, Colombia's Pascual Carballar got a free kick in the 69th minute. With a little luck, Colombia's Pedro Manzanares got control of the ball when Júlio Gentil tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Jiang Qing Lin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 73rd minute, Kevin Mastache hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vito de Godoi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ignacio Mastache in the 77th minute of play. 78 minutes into the match, Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Henrique Candal. Vito de Godoi came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by Colombia's Ignacio Mastache. But to his dismay, Ignacio Mastache quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-2. 84 minutes into the match, Matos Velhos's goal looked a bit too open when Pascual Carballar came free, but Vito de Godoi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Antonio Indiano hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. In the 87th minute the ball was on its way in behind Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kevin Mastache in the 88th minute of play forced Matos Velhos's goalkeeper Vito de Godoi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Matos Velhos's Júlio Gentil got a free kick in the 89th minute. In the 89th minute Kevin Mastache shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vito de Godoi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pedro Manzanares made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Lee Beckford sent off a good shot on target. After 92 minutes of play, Matos Velhos's Henrique Candal made it 4-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pedro Manzanares was left in no man's land by his defense there! Colombia's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
