Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Ettore Castagna kicked off to start the match. In the 2nd minute Luca Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cai Qian saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mexico were awarded a corner in the 4th minute after Ombucito AFC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Joel Gaona took the corner. Mexico's Facundo Cadaval was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Cai Qian in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 7th minute of the match, Nicolas Indar tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Dante Lacasa saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 9th minute, Ombucito AFC's Leonel Fliz ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Dante Lacasa. Dante Lacasa yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Leonel Fliz kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Dante Lacasa. That made the score 2-0 in the 11 minute of play. In the 14th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ombucito AFC's goalkeeper Cai Qian, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Cai Qian showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Gaona in the 16th minute of the match. In the 16th minute, Joel Gaona left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mexico fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. 19 minutes into the match, Ombucito AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Lautaro Mancebo came free, but Cai Qian reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. It was Joel Gaona who took care of the corner kick. Alberto Tafalla was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. After a rather tough play, Ombucito AFC's Leonel Fliz got a free kick in the 39th minute. Cai Qian showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lautaro Mancebo, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. After having played for 41 minutes, Felix Luque managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mexico's supporters crossed their fingers, but Felix Luque was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After having played for 43 minutes, Ettore Castagna managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ettore Castagna in the 51st minute of play. Cai Qian took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Gaona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alberto Tafalla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cai Qian having to interfere. Tadeo Kemen didn't get a good kick on the ball. 78 minutes in the game, Lautaro Mancebo fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Cai Qian having to interfere. Alberto Tafalla struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Cai Qian didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mexico. 83 minutes into the match, Mexico's Luca Zorita sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cai Qian narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Ombucito AFC booed when Mexico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joel Gaona didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Alberto Tafalla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alberto Tafalla got free with Cai Qian in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Lautaro Mancebo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mexico's supporters rose to their feet, but Lautaro Mancebo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cai Qian breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Ombucito AFC's Filiberto Nicholas got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Cai Qian showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Gaona, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. In the 95th minute, Julian Michael hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Alberto Tafalla came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Mexico fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alberto Tafalla couldn't finish the play. Mexico's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
