Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Axel Tasis got the match started through his kick off. Juan Rubio hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. Mauro Nunes blasted a shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Benito Sanz having to make a save. 13 minutes into the game, 〇乙ᗩᖇḰ ᗰ乙ᑕ - FDFDF's Wesley Pombal nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Benito Sanz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Wesley Pombal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Benito Sanz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 27 minutes into the match, Wesley Pombal had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Wesley Pombal was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. If Axel Tasis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 〇乙ᗩᖇḰ ᗰ乙ᑕ - FDFDF's Ulysses Abraão got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, Costa Rica's Benito Sanz got control of the ball when Wesley Pombal tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 40th minute, Juan Rubio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had gone on for 42 minutes, Wesley Pombal took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Benito Sanz to make any attempt to save it. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ulysses Abraão stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wesley Pombal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mauro Nunes in the 52nd minute of play. In the 55th minute Ulysses Abraão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Costa Rica defense, Wesley Pombal kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benito Sanz. The Costa Rica fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benito Sanz should have stopped the shot. Luciano Galvão made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Lautaro Puig sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wesley Pombal in the 62nd minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mauro Nunes, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Lautaro Puig's late challenge caught a 〇乙ᗩᖇḰ ᗰ乙ᑕ - FDFDF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lautaro Puig helped the player get up and apologised. In the 67th minute, Wesley Pombal ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benito Sanz was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. If Aílton Fernandes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ulysses Abraão in the 73rd minute of the match. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ulysses Abraão, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. A collision led to 〇乙ᗩᖇḰ ᗰ乙ᑕ - FDFDF getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Rafa Penha hit a great ball. If Wesley Pombal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 81st minute, Abel Carballo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Costa Rica's zone, Ulysses Abraão stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benito Sanz came out of the goal and Ulysses Abraão tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rafa Penha kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match.
