Vladimiro Marquez kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. With his leg Zé Roberto Teixeira managed to avoid a goal in the 4thth minute, when Argentina's Maximiliano Peralta fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Zé Roberto Teixeira stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Pepe Ferrari's shot from short distance in the 7th minute. Zé Roberto Teixeira made a fantastic save in the 9th minute, when Pepe Ferrari sent off a good shot on target. Maximiliano Peralta in the 12thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Zé Roberto Teixeira, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After 16 minutes of play, Playa Malvín's Stamen Tekeliev made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Florentino Boni was left in no man's land by his defense there! The crowd rose to their feet as Amado Cardozo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Zé Roberto Teixeira. That made the score 1-1 in the 22 minute of play. A well-hit corner resulted in Macario Fernandez heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Argentina's Florentino Boni played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stamen Tekeliev in the 29th minute of play. Amado Cardozo scored 2-1 in the 31st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Zé Roberto Teixeira, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Florentino Boni showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stamen Tekeliev in the 34th minute of the match. Zé Roberto Teixeira made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Amado Cardozo sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stelian Murgu in the 44th minute of play forced Argentina's goalkeeper Florentino Boni to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

Argentina's Sebastian Sagese was substituted for Pepe Ferrari. Argentina made a substitution. Cristofer Conti replaced Amado Cardozo. Argentina's Federico Falcone was substituted for Alba Arce. Zé Roberto Teixeira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emiliano Vega in the 65th minute of play. Playa Malvín made a substitution. Quinto Ampudia replaced Stamen Tekeliev. In the 71st minute of the game Jabier Igual made a throw-in which Constantijn De Hond played forward. 86 minutes into the match, Argentina's goalkeeper Florentino Boni had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Stelian Murgu. After a defensive mix-up in Playa Malvín's zone, Cristofer Conti stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zé Roberto Teixeira came out of the goal and Cristofer Conti tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Zé Roberto Teixeira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristofer Conti, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 92nd minute, Cristofer Conti ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Zé Roberto Teixeira was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Quinto Ampudias short, quick shot in the 96thth minute got Florentino Boni to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Argentina fully deserved thier win.
