Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Dexter Snell got the match started through his kick off. In the 3rd minute, Moises Fernandino ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Renaldo David was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Winford Dwyer hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. In the 10th minute Moises Fernandino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Renaldo David saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 11 played minutes United States got a freekick which was hit by Darron Healy. After 13 played minutes El Salvador got a freekick which was hit by Abram Luque. El Salvador's Jesus Carvallo quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Santo Mercer, made in the 16th minute of the game. When United States's Dexter Snell in the 18th minute got a chance for a shot 18th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye El Salvador's goalie prevented a goal. 22 minutes into the game, El Salvador's Jorge Magrina nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Renaldo David made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. In the 31st match minute, El Salvador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Moises Fernandino to maneuver through the defense. Karl Fleming hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Moises Fernandino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Renaldo David tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, El Salvador's Marco Tamayo got a free kick in the 36th minute. Karl Fleming missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 39 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Ricardo Zorita right hand side. Karl Fleming could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Ricardo Zorita made a huge save.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Moises Fernandino to make the kick off. Winford Dwyer's late challenge caught a El Salvador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Winford Dwyer helped the player get up and apologised. Winford Dwyer hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. 54 minutes in the game, Moises Fernandino fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Renaldo David having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sherman Sosa in the 57th minute of play forced El Salvador's goalkeeper Ricardo Zorita to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ricardo Zorita took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dexter Snell, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Winford Dwyer hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. El Salvador's Ricardo Zorita played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dexter Snell in the 95th minute of play. Marco Tamayo hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
