Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wojciech Dulemba, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. With a little luck, Ratowo's Florin Niță got control of the ball when Tomas Illescas tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the referee blew the final whistle, Ratowo could leave the field as winners, despite Venezuela having more of the ball for most of the match.
