But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Felix Platon couldn't finish the play. In the 7th minute of the game Guido Silvino made a throw-in which Epifanio Gergori played forward. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Cóndor Football Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rodrigo Iliana didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 14th minute, Jose Correa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Guillermo Mariano hit a great ball. The supporters of Cóndor Football Club booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Salvador Gisbert didn't get a good kick on the ball. Leonides Petrigai could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. After 21 played minutes Cóndor Football Club got a freekick which was hit by Ramiro Galoer. Felix Platon in the 25thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Leonides Petrigai struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cóndor Football Club. Felix Platon did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant 29 minutes into the match. 31 minutes into the game, Felix Platon cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Jonathan Ferrant was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With an all-out effort, Cóndor Football Club's Jonathan Ferrant threw himself towards the right post 36 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Felix Platon, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Felix Platon tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 40th minute Gaspar Mannuel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cóndor Football Club's Gaspar Mannuel suffered a sore thigh after 43 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Cóndor Football Club made a substitution. Fermin Gelmiro replaced Gaspar Mannuel. In the 44th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Camilo Gaos to maneuver through the defense. 45 minutes into the match, Cóndor Football Club's Epifanio Gergori broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Edelmiro Beat was the one to do the kick off. Guido Silvino made in the 53rd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Edelmiro Beat however managed to control. Guillermo Mariano kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Venezuela's Tomas Illescas got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, Cóndor Football Club's Evaristo Sabino got control of the ball when Tomas Illescas tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 64 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Guillermo Mariano. When the match clock showed 65 minutes, the score became 3-1 when Edelmiro Beat sped through Venezuela's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. 71 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Edelmiro Beat came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 72 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Guillermo Mariano. Tomas Illescas came free with the goalkeeper in the 75th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Evaristo Sabino could save by the left post. Tomas Illescas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Evaristo Sabino made a huge save. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edelmiro Beat in the 88th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 90 minutes Venezuela's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Guido Silvino who took care of the corner kick. Cóndor Football Club's Guido Silvino was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Jonathan Ferrant in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 90th minute, Tomas Illescas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Salvador Gisbert fell near the penalty area in the 97th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Venezuela's protests and gave Salvador Gisbert a yellow card for diving instead. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Cóndor Football Club had played much better football throughout.
