Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Francisco Seco took the kick off in the first half of the match. The audience was convinced that Claudinho Aparecido's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Joaquin Gayoso was relentless in the 3rd minute of the game. With a little luck, New England Patriots's Gerrit Hardering got control of the ball when Francisco Seco tried to sneak it across the goal line. Francisco Seco who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 28thth minute tested the skills of Gerrit Hardering when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 30 minutes of play, New England Patriots's Gustavo Cordeiro made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Joaquin Gayoso was left in no man's land by his defense there! Maximiliano Escribano received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Gerrit Hardering came out and tried to block the shot, but Maximiliano Escribano slotted it home off the left post making it 1-3 in the 33rd minute. 37 minutes into the match, Claudinho Aparecido had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Joaquin Gayoso. Uruguay's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Claudinho Aparecido was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4. After a rather tough play, New England Patriots's Wilson Piazza got a free kick in the 41st minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Jaime Cazalla managed to get in a good position for a shot. Uruguay's supporters rose to their feet, but Jaime Cazalla was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gerrit Hardering breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Maximiliano Escribano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in New England Patriots's zone, Francisco Seco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gerrit Hardering came out of the goal and Francisco Seco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-4 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Claudinho Aparecido to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 57th minute Maximiliano Escribano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gerrit Hardering saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joaquin Gayoso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Claudinho Aparecido, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Francisco Seco in the 66th minute of play forced New England Patriots's goalkeeper Gerrit Hardering to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 69 minutes into the game, Maximiliano Escribano cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-5. With a left leg Gerrit Hardering saved New England Patriots from getting behind. After 96 minutes, Rareș Necula mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the New England Patriots and the Uruguay players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, New England Patriots's Rareș Necula got a free kick in the 96th minute. The New England Patriots players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
