After some careless play in the REAL SUOMI CF defense, Daniel Zorita kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of 董响斐. The REAL SUOMI CF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that 董响斐 should have stopped the shot. 6 minutes into the match, REAL SUOMI CF's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but 董响斐 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A nice corner shot did that Felix Montes got away a dangerous shot. Despite this 董响斐 quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 11th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 董响斐 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 14 minutes, Cristian Sancho put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of 董响斐. In the 26th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. REAL SUOMI CF's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. 董响斐 showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 28th minute of the match. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 29th minute after REAL SUOMI CF's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but 董响斐 in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Radomir Narbut could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. REAL SUOMI CF's 董响斐 played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 33rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 34th minute of play forced REAL SUOMI CF's goalkeeper 董响斐 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 38th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 董响斐 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fabinho Silveira was the one to do the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristian Sancho got free with 董响斐 in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but 董响斐 made a huge save. In the 57th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. REAL SUOMI CF's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Juan Sebastián Puig almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but REAL SUOMI CF's 董响斐 did a great save. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabinho Silveira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Karl-Axel Majman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. When Sindri Sigdórsson fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored REAL SUOMI CF's protests and gave Sindri Sigdórsson a yellow card for diving instead. Sindri Sigdórsson kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Agustín Saelices sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabinho Silveira, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without 董响斐 having to interfere. Daniel Zorita struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. 董响斐 didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. Ecuador played a much better game than REAL SUOMI CF and deserved their victory. The REAL SUOMI CF players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
