Vicente Varela's late challenge caught a Chile's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vicente Varela helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to CANIL VON ZAATARI™️ getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Vicente Varela hit a great ball. 8 minutes into the match, Chile's goal looked a bit too open when Osvaldo Shantala came free, but Thiago Pliego reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Osvaldo Shantala in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Thiago Pliego prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 10 minutes, Osvaldo Shantala made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Chile's Thiago Pliego tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Chile's Thiago Pliego proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save Chile from getting a goal against them. Emerson Leão showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 15th minute of the match. Mariano Lacasa scored 1-1 in the 15th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Emerson Leão, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Mariano Lacasa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Emerson Leão having to make a save. The crowd rose to their feet as CANIL VON ZAATARI™️'s Osvaldo Shantala slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Thiago Pliego. That made the score 2-1 after 20 minutes of play. 24 minutes into the match, Chile's Mariano Lacasa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Emerson Leão narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of CANIL VON ZAATARI™️ booed when Chile was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gerardo Pozo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 30th minute Vicente Varela shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thiago Pliego saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 32nd minute CANIL VON ZAATARI™️ were awarded a corner. Adriano de Brito went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Adriano de Brito got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Thiago Pliego quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After a rather tough play, CANIL VON ZAATARI™️'s Sydney Quirino got a free kick in the 42nd minute.

Thiago Pliego showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Osvaldo Shantala, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. In the 52nd minute CANIL VON ZAATARI™️ were awarded a corner. Adriano de Brito went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led CANIL VON ZAATARI™️'s Vicente Varela to fire away a dangerous shot which Thiago Pliego despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Emerson Leão took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mariano Lacasa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 56th minute Mariano Lacasa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emerson Leão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, CANIL VON ZAATARI™️'s Emerson Leão got control of the ball when Pedro Indiano tried to sneak it across the goal line. 63 minutes into the match, CANIL VON ZAATARI™️'s goalkeeper Emerson Leão had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mariano Lacasa. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Chile's Mariano Lacasa in the 77th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Emerson Leão was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for CANIL VON ZAATARI™️ through an amazing save. Nilmar Cearense hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. Thiago Pliego made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Osvaldo Shantala in the 87th minute of play. Thiago Pliego took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Osvaldo Shantala, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mariano Lacasa got free with Emerson Leão in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
