Julian Murillo came free with the goalkeeper in the 5th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Tor Echegoyen could save by the left post. Efraim Gilabert kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Rolando Noboa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ismael Furlan, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. In the 19th minute Ismael Furlan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Peru were awarded a corner in the 22th minute after Momentum FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Luz Tejedor took the corner. The corner led Peru's Emmanuel Reyes to fire away a dangerous shot which Tor Echegoyen despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Julian Murillo succeeded in the game's 25th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-0. 31 minutes into the match, Peru's Julian Murillo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tor Echegoyen narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Momentum FC's Tor Echegoyen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luz Tejedor in the 33rd minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Julian Murillo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Julian Murillo couldn't finish the play. Tor Echegoyen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 60th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Julian Murillo in the 61st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tor Echegoyen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 63 minutes Peru's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Benedicto Eladio who took care of the corner kick. Momentum FC's Benedicto Eladio was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Rolando Noboa in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ismael Furlan in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rolando Noboa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 71st minute, Milagros Fraga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Momentum FC made a substitution. Vincent Abubakar replaced Ismael Furlan. In the 84th minute, Arni Urb hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The throw-in from Luís Fábio Pontes in the 86th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Peru's Alonso Berganza. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rafael Gallo in the 87th minute of play forced Momentum FC's goalkeeper Tor Echegoyen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tor Echegoyen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rafael Gallo in the 88th minute of the match. After 92 minutes of play, Peru's Rafael Gallo made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tor Echegoyen was left in no man's land by his defense there! Peru walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
