The player immediately received a yellow card. Benito Sanz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Atalan Cuma went, in the 9th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Eliseo Noboa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without İskender Özkutal having to interfere. KaR United FC's İskender Özkutal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eliseo Noboa in the 15th minute of play. Çağan Tahir fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benito Sanz having to interfere. Alan Moruga's late challenge caught a KaR United FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alan Moruga helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Alan Moruga hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in KaR United FC's zone, Alfredo Zoido stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. İskender Özkutal came out of the goal and Alfredo Zoido tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, KaR United FC's Eralp Ortan got a free kick in the 22nd minute. 24 minutes into the match, Alfredo Zoido notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of KaR United FC's İskender Özkutal. İskender Özkutal was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Costa Rica were furious when Juan Rubio was red carded, 31 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After a long run with the ball, Yenal Ulu did a trick in the 33rd minute in front of Costa Rica's goalkeeper, who threw himself to the side. After that it was simple to shoot 2-1. An impressive performance by KaR United FC's Yenal Ulu! A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Alexander Carballo hit a great ball. 41 minutes into the match, KaR United FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alfredo Zoido came free, but İskender Özkutal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Atalan Cuma who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 42ndth minute tested the skills of Benito Sanz when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After having played for 44 minutes, Alfredo Zoido managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Costa Rica's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alfredo Zoido was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Eliseo Noboa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Eliseo Noboa made a kick off. Çağdaş Belen hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Eliseo Noboa got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Atalan Cuma took the ball and in the 57 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. KaR United FC were awarded a corner in the 64th minute after Costa Rica's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Yenal Ulu took the corner. In the 67th match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfredo Zoido to maneuver through the defense. The KaR United FC fans' excitement grew in the 69th match minute when KaR United FC's Atalan Cuma looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 6-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 73 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's Alfredo Zoido sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that İskender Özkutal narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Benito Sanz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Atalan Cuma went, in the 74th minute, to the upper right corner, 7-1 was the resulting score. Alfredo Zoido hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. If Eliseo Noboa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 79 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Atalan Cuma came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 82nd minute of the match KaR United FC got a corner. Costa Rica's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Yenal Ulu ran over to the corner to take the kick. It was a well-played corner which Yenal Sadun managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. After a defensive mix-up in Costa Rica's zone, Yenal Sadun stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benito Sanz came out of the goal and Yenal Sadun tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Costa Rica's Alfredo Zoido got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alfredo Zoido took the ball and in the 92 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised İskender Özkutal. İskender Özkutal dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-2. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. KaR United FC had won after a very even match.
