RED BLUE STAR's Karol Pierz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 42nd minute of play. 44 minutes into the match, RED BLUE STAR's goal looked a bit too open when Luz Tejedor came free, but Karol Pierz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ionuț Grecu during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 48 played minutes RED BLUE STAR got a freekick which was hit by Ionuț Grecu.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Antonio Tenorio got free with Karol Pierz in the 97th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The RED BLUE STAR fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Peru were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
