Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Mexico's Joel Gaona started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The corner led Mijdrecht Maffia's Kurt Holthuis to fire away a dangerous shot which Dante Lacasa despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 7th minute of play forced Mijdrecht Maffia's goalkeeper Mirko Vervoort to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mirko Vervoort took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Facundo Cadaval, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mirko Vervoort showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 12th minute of the match. Mijdrecht Maffia's Mirko Vervoort played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Gaona in the 14th minute of play. Mexico's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Joel Gaona in the 15th minute. The corner ended in Lautaro Mancebo almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Mijdrecht Maffia's Mirko Vervoort did a great save. In the 16th minute, Lautaro Mancebo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mexico fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. 19 minutes into the match, Mijdrecht Maffia's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Tafalla came free, but Mirko Vervoort reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alberto Tafalla scored 0-2 in the 23rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mirko Vervoort, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 26 minutes into the game, Mexico's Alberto Tafalla nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mirko Vervoort made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Ate Veninga managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mijdrecht Maffia's supporters rose to their feet, but Ate Veninga was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dante Lacasa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luca Zorita in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mirko Vervoort prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Mijdrecht Maffia's Arda Heerckes managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Leonardo Leoz in the 36 minute of the game. Alberto Tafalla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 42 minutes into the game, Mijdrecht Maffia's Juvenal Vaz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dante Lacasa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. A collision led to Mexico getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Joel Gaona hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Mijdrecht Maffia defense, Joel Gaona kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mirko Vervoort. The Mijdrecht Maffia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mirko Vervoort should have stopped the shot.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Juvenal Vaz was the one to do the kick off. Luca Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Mirko Vervoort tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lautaro Mancebo's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Mirko Vervoort firmly grabbed it by the left post. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 西门 亮, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. After 63 minutes Mexico's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Kurt Holthuis who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Mijdrecht Maffia's 西门 亮 to fire away a dangerous shot which Dante Lacasa despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. When Alberto Tafalla, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 70 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Mirko Vervoort was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. In the 72nd minute Juvenal Vaz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mirko Vervoort took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Gaona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 76th minute, Joel Gaona made a precise shot to the right of Mirko Vervoort. Mijdrecht Maffia's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-5. 1-6 became the score in the 81st minute when Joel Gaona elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Lautaro Mancebo struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Mirko Vervoort didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mexico. Mirko Vervoort made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luca Zorita in the 88th minute of play. 89 minutes had been played when some careless play by Mijdrecht Maffia's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Joel Gaona was slow to take the kick. During this time Mexico's players had a chance to rest. 92 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Juvenal Vaz came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 94th minute, Alberto Tafalla left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mexico fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-8. The Mexico players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
