The Walthamstow fans' excitement grew in the 14th match minute when Walthamstow's Beagan Colwell looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 17 played minutes Paraguay got a freekick which was hit by Hector Covarrubias. Jaime Pardo struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. When the match had gone on for 32 minutes, Jaime Pardo put it in 2-2 from a short distance just to the right of Gage Pillai. If Edwin Lindgren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match clock showed 56 minutes, the score became 4-2 when Beagan Colwell sped through Paraguay's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jacobo Nores. 59 minutes into the game, Edwin Lindgren threw the ball into play from the sideline. Paraguay's Juan Diego Tenorio quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. After some careless play in the Paraguay defense, Beagan Colwell kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jacobo Nores. The Paraguay fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jacobo Nores should have stopped the shot. In the 65th minute, Israel Reno got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Beagan Colwell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 74thth minute of the game Beagan Colwell who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Paraguay's Jacobo Nores was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Beagan Colwell's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jacobo Nores was relentless in the 74th minute of the game. If Beagan Colwell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jaime Pardo took the ball and in the 79 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gage Pillai. Gage Pillai dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-3. Beagan Colwell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Jacobo Nores tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Edwin Lindgren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Jaime Pardo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Paraguay's supporters rose to their feet, but Jaime Pardo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gage Pillai breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Beagan Colwell took the ball and in the 90 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jacobo Nores. Jacobo Nores dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-3. Many of Paraguay's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Paraguay may have spent more time on the ball, but Walthamstow were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
