Cassius Byrne succeeded in the game's 3rd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-0. 11 minutes into the match, RED BLUE STAR's goal looked a bit too open when Monty Rogers came free, but Karol Pierz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With his leg Karol Pierz managed to avoid a goal in the 14thth minute, when USA's Cassius Byrne fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 姚然军 struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Marco Day didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for RED BLUE STAR. 19 minutes into the match, USA's goal looked a bit too open when 姚然军 came free, but Marco Day reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marco Day showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Răzvan Spineanu, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. 28 minutes into the match, RED BLUE STAR's goal looked a bit too open when Monty Rogers came free, but Karol Pierz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. RED BLUE STAR's Karol Pierz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Monty Rogers in the 32nd minute of play. In the 33rd minute USA were awarded a corner. Cassius Byrne went to the cornerflag to take it. A very nice done corner allowed Cassius Byrne to score against Karol Pierz in RED BLUE STAR's goal. 2-0 after 34 minutes. Karol Pierz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Monty Rogers in the 38th minute of play. Marco Day made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ionuț Grecu in the 39th minute of play. 41 minutes into the match, Monty Rogers dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Karol Pierz, 3-0. A collision led to RED BLUE STAR getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. 姚然军 hit a great ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

RED BLUE STAR made a substitution. Dumitru Chiriacescu replaced Corneliu Lupescu. The wind increased when Cassius Byrne made the kick off in the second half. Marco Day made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Namık Kemal Korur sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Monty Rogers in the 57th minute of play forced RED BLUE STAR's goalkeeper Karol Pierz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cassius Byrne in the 59th minute of play forced RED BLUE STAR's goalkeeper Karol Pierz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If 姚然军 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Karol Pierz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Monty Rogers, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. USA made a substitution. Marco Baker replaced Edward Mcdonald. After taking down the ball on RED BLUE STAR's corner Bacary Roudier fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Marco Day quite easily take care of the ball. Karol Pierz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sam Campbell in the 90th minute of play. 92 minutes into the game, RED BLUE STAR's Namık Kemal Korur nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marco Day made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. When Sam Campbell came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the USA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sam Campbell couldn't finish the play.
