Arsenio Azibar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Pedro Manzanares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arsenio Azibar in the 11th minute of play. Pedro Manzanares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ismael Furlan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ismael Furlan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pedro Manzanares read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ismael Furlan in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pedro Manzanares prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 21st minute, Ismael Furlan made a precise shot to the right of Pedro Manzanares. Colombia's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Pedro Manzanares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ismael Furlan, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. 25 minutes into the match, Momentum FC's goal looked a bit too open when Axel Montenegro came free, but Tor Echegoyen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Momentum FC defense, Axel Montenegro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tor Echegoyen. The Momentum FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tor Echegoyen should have stopped the shot. Momentum FC's Tor Echegoyen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kevin Mastache in the 40th minute of play. 47 minutes into the game, Cosme Cordarryl was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Momentum FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Colombia the free kick. Cosme Cordarryl kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Arsenio Azibar to make the kick off. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save Colombia from getting a goal against them. When the match had gone on for 57 minutes, Ismael Furlan took a quick shot and it went in 2-2 without a chance for Pedro Manzanares to make any attempt to save it. If Ismael Furlan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 60th minute Ismael Furlan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Manzanares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pedro Manzanares made an important save on a dangerous shot by Arsenio Azibar in the 62nd minute. Pedro Manzanares was out of position in the 62 minute of play, and Arsenio Azibar capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Arsenio Azibar really showed his touch with that goal: 2-3. Carlos Auzqui replaced Arsenio Azibar. After 75 played minutes Momentum FC got a freekick which was hit by Eliseo Martxel. Carlos Auzqui received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Pedro Manzanares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With his leg Pedro Manzanares managed to avoid a goal in the 78thth minute, when Momentum FC's Carlos Auzqui fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 80 minutes in the game Joshua Garrido did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Antonio Indiano. In the 81st minute, Joshua Garrido hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 84 played minutes Momentum FC got a freekick which was hit by Kai Brüggemann. Momentum FC's Tor Echegoyen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ignacio Mastache in the 90th minute of play. In the 93rd minute, Vincent Abubakar made a precise shot to the right of Pedro Manzanares. Colombia's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-7. The Colombia supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Momentum FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Momentum FC.
