Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Osvaldo Shantala made the kick off which started today's match. 3 minutes into the match, Peru's Julian Murillo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Emerson Leão narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Sydney Quirino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Emerson Leão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 9th minute of play. 11 minutes into the match, CANIL VON ZAATARI™️'s goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Emerson Leão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The throw-in from Gustavo Gómez in the 23rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Peru's Joaquin Prats. Julian Murillo took the ball and in the 31 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Emerson Leão. Emerson Leão dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Osvaldo Shantala in the 34th minute of play. 39 minutes into the match, CANIL VON ZAATARI™️'s goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Emerson Leão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 43rd minute the ball was on its way in behind CANIL VON ZAATARI™️'s goalkeeper Emerson Leão, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Milagros Fraga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Emerson Leão tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With an all-out effort, Peru's Emerson Leão threw himself towards the right post 59 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Luz Tejedor, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After a defensive mix-up in CANIL VON ZAATARI™️'s zone, Milagros Fraga stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emerson Leão came out of the goal and Milagros Fraga tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Emerson Leão took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Murillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. CANIL VON ZAATARI™️'s Nilmar Cearense was substituted for Sydney Quirino. CANIL VON ZAATARI™️ made a substitution. Eurico Proença replaced Inácio Bueno. CANIL VON ZAATARI™️ made a substitution. Enrique do Vale replaced Adriano de Brito. Julian Murillo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Peru made a substitution. Eliseo Alcocer replaced Moises Gayoso. Peru's Antonio Tenorio was substituted for Luz Tejedor. Peru's Rafael Gallo was substituted for Julian Murillo. The throw-in from Gustavo Gómez in the 88th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Peru's Eliseo Mina. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rafael Gallo in the 88th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Emerson Leão saved CANIL VON ZAATARI™️ from getting behind. In the 90th minute Peru were awarded a corner. Eliseo Mina went to the cornerflag to take it. After a defensive mix-up in CANIL VON ZAATARI™️'s zone, Antonio Tenorio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emerson Leão came out of the goal and Antonio Tenorio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The CANIL VON ZAATARI™️ fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Peru were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
