But to his dismay, Caco Moura quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. The supporters of The Globo Red booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonathan Venegas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dominik Webb recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Caco Moura in the 24th minute of play. In the 27th minute the ball was on its way in behind Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 28 minutes Venezuela's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Dominik Webb who took care of the corner kick. The corner led The Globo Red's Dominik Webb to fire away a dangerous shot which Jonathan Ferrant despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Uygur Demirer kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. If Caco Moura had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 36th minute, Rudolf Rus reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jonathan Ferrant. The goal made the score 2-0. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 45 minutes into the match, Caco Moura notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Caco Moura was the one to do the kick off. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Caco Moura, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute.
