Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Anacleto Libertad started the match with the kick off. Anacleto Libertad sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Ecuador's zone, Theocharis Vrachos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Vera came out of the goal and Theocharis Vrachos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Anacleto Libertad's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 13th minute of play. If Anacleto Libertad had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 18 minutes into the match, Felix Montenegro notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Los Guacho Pistola's Rodrigo Toribio. Rodrigo Toribio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 21st minute, Daniel Zorita left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ecuador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. In the 24th minute Luis Andino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rodrigo Toribio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cristian Sancho blasted a shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rodrigo Toribio having to make a save. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Theocharis Vrachos hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. If Anacleto Libertad had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 32 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Anacleto Libertad. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anacleto Libertad in the 35th minute of play. When Ecuador's Daniel Zorita in the 36th minute got a chance for a shot 36th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Los Guacho Pistola's goalie prevented a goal. In the 40thth minute of the game Cristian Sancho who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Los Guacho Pistola's Rodrigo Toribio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Anacleto Libertad could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. Rodrigo Toribio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Blagovest Deykov hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. Daniel Zorita took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 48th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Rodrigo Toribio. Los Guacho Pistola's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The Los Guacho Pistola players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ecuador were winning 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Daniel Zorita stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anacleto Libertad in the 57th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 66th minute, Daniel Zorita got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 68 minutes, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristian Sancho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Camilo Gisbert hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anacleto Libertad in the 73rd minute of the match. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Rodrigo Toribio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Los Guacho Pistola was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jan Zuid didn't get a good kick on the ball. Los Guacho Pistola made a substitution. Zygmunt Walczak replaced Jan Zuid. In the 80th match minute, Los Guacho Pistola was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jan Zuid to maneuver through the defense. 81 minutes in the game Luis Andino got a great opportunity which he missed by shooting outside the goal. Camilo Gisbert hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. In the 84th minute Anacleto Libertad shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 85 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ecuador's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Vladan Leszczynski was slow to take the kick. During this time Los Guacho Pistola's players had a chance to rest. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zygmunt Walczak in the 86th minute of the match. Ecuador played a much better game than Los Guacho Pistola and deserved their victory. The Los Guacho Pistola players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
