When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Daniel Zorita made a kick off. João Vítor Alves kicked well hit freekick during the 50th minute of the match. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Nicolas Cardozo made a huge save. In the 57th minute, Gil dos Santos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Juan Sebastián Puig got a free kick in the 59th minute. Nicolas Cardozo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 63rd minute of the match.
