An unexpectedly hard shot by Panos Telakis in the 30th minute of play forced Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Honduras's attentive Esteban Carvallo managed to snatch the ball when Mariusz Poreda made a throw-in in the 34th minute of the game. 37 minutes into the game, Mariusz Poreda threw the ball into play from the sideline. Honduras's Luca Espinar quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. 38 minutes into the match, Dhafnospiliá BC's goal looked a bit too open when Sebastian Villa came free, but Nikos Tournas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 42nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Petros Kalivrousis made a kick off. Lautaro Navarro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Panos Telakis, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. 57 minutes into the match, Nicasio Guijarro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lautaro Navarro. Honduras's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nicasio Guijarro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Nikos Tournas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edmundo Espiga's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. After 80 minutes, Milagros Cabal mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Honduras and the Dhafnospiliá BC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Dhafnospiliá BC booed when Honduras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Milagros Cabal didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 81st minute of the match Owen Colbert shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lautaro Navarro showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 85th match minute, Dhafnospiliá BC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nicasio Guijarro to maneuver through the defense. Sebastian Villa succeeded in the game's 88th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-1. A collision led to Honduras getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Milagros Cabal hit a great ball. Petros Kalivrousis blasted a shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lautaro Navarro having to make a save. Honduras's Luca Espinar managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Mariusz Poreda in the 94 minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Edmundo Espiga managed to get in a good position for a shot. Honduras's supporters rose to their feet, but Edmundo Espiga was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nikos Tournas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
