The supporters of Stade Ygossais booed when Bolivia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alejandro Villa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Frigyes Rigó showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eduardo Fontirroig in the 44th minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bastien Tassart stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Aaron Fernström hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Stade Ygossais's Frigyes Rigó played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eduardo Fontirroig in the 62nd minute of play. Camilo Freixa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Frigyes Rigó made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eduardo Fontirroig in the 89th minute of play. After having played for 92 minutes, Alfonso de la Cruz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bolivia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alfonso de la Cruz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tõnu Mahlaoks fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Camilo Freixa having to interfere. 96 minutes into the game, Stade Ygossais's Cédric Louison nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Camilo Freixa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. There was no doubt that Stade Ygossais were the better team. Stade Ygossais's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
