Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Fabian Gilesindo kicked off to start the match. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabian Gilesindo in the 5th minute of the match. Emiliano Luke got a throw-in 8 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Augustin Ciocoiu. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 19th minute, Fabian Gilesindo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Hope AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 31st match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Camilo Gaos to maneuver through the defense. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabian Gilesindo, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. The Hope AFC fans' excitement grew in the 34th match minute when Hope AFC's Fabian Gilesindo looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Leontin Voinescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Illescas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Hope AFC's zone, Patricio Costa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leontin Voinescu came out of the goal and Patricio Costa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Jose Correa hit a great ball. If Dorin Miulescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 47 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Jose Correa. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Hannes Ekrot stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Hannes Ekrot tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Venezuela players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Hope AFC were winning 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tomas Illescas made a kick off. Emiliano Luke made in the 53rd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Augustin Ciocoiu however managed to control. After 54 minutes of play, Hope AFC's Fabian Gilesindo made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 57th match minute, Hope AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Martin Ciocan to maneuver through the defense. Hope AFC's Narcis Bobocea was substituted for Marin Mereacre. Hope AFC's Cornel Lucaci was substituted for Augustin Ciocoiu. Martin Ciocan kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Leontin Voinescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 59th minute of play. In the 67th minute, Tomas Illescas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tomas Illescas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Leontin Voinescu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 70th minute of play. After having played for 76 minutes, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Venezuela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomas Illescas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dorin Miulescu in the 78th minute of play. In the 80th minute, Tomas Illescas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Venezuela fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. In the 83rd match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patricio Costa to maneuver through the defense. Jonathan Ferrant was out of position in the 86 minute of play, and Fabian Gilesindo capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Fabian Gilesindo really showed his touch with that goal: 1-4. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabian Gilesindo, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. 91 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fabian Gilesindo. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Venezuela's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomas Illescas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leontin Voinescu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 96th minute the ball was on its way in behind Hope AFC's goalkeeper Leontin Voinescu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 97th minute, when Fabian Gilesindo sent off a good shot on target. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Hope AFC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
