Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Fabian Gilesindo kicked off to start the match. 7 minutes into the match, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Leontin Voinescu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 8th minute of the match, Fabian Gilesindo tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Jonathan Ferrant saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The supporters of Hope AFC booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patricio Costa didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Tomas Illescas came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Venezuela fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomas Illescas couldn't finish the play. In the 14th minute, Camilo Gaos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fabian Gilesindo's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. In the 20th minute, Tomas Illescas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabian Gilesindo in the 21st minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Patricio Costa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Venezuela's supporters rose to their feet, but Patricio Costa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leontin Voinescu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 33rd minute, Tomas Illescas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fabian Gilesindo kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by Hope AFC's Fabian Gilesindo. But to his dismay, Fabian Gilesindo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabian Gilesindo in the 40th minute of play. A throw-in in the 44th minute of the game was made by Emiliano Luke with Sabin Cartiș as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tomas Illescas in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Leontin Voinescu saved Hope AFC from getting behind. Hope AFC made a substitution. Cornel Lucaci replaced Augustin Ciocoiu. The supporters of Hope AFC booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tomas Illescas didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Hope AFC's Cristo Dimo got a free kick in the 65th minute. In the 66th minute, Tomas Illescas sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Hope AFC's Leontin Voinescu didn't even have to move. Leontin Voinescu stood somewhat misplaced when Tomas Illescas came free in front of goal and shot 1-1 to the left of him in the 72 minute. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Hope AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emiliano Luke didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tomas Illescas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leontin Voinescu having to interfere. Leontin Voinescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Illescas in the 90th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Jonathan Venegas got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Camilo Gaos hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
