Spectators: 49 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Chanboon Saedan started the match with the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Chanboon Saedan in the 3rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Camilo Freixa saved Bolivia from getting behind. Camilo Freixa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chanboon Saedan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 13th minute, Chanboon Saedan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Olympique de Marseille fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Eduardo Fontirroig hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Eduardo Fontirroig charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eduardo Fontirroig the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 20th match minute, Bolivia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eduardo Fontirroig to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Bolivia booed when Olympique de Marseille was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Durongrit Khamwong didn't get a good kick on the ball. Camilo Freixa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sadayut Thanateerasud went, in the 28th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. 32 minutes into the match, Thanasit Morpeak notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Bolivia's Camilo Freixa. Camilo Freixa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 34th match minute, Olympique de Marseille was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aekkapong Luabunnum to maneuver through the defense. Carlo Petrini made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfredo Ferrant in the 35th minute of play. The supporters of Olympique de Marseille booed when Bolivia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eduardo Fontirroig didn't get a good kick on the ball. Chanboon Saedan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Camilo Freixa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Chanboon Saedan in the 46th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Camilo Freixa prevented the ball from getting in the gole.

The wind increased when Mario Fernandino made the kick off in the second half. Carlo Petrini showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfonso de la Cruz, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Carlo Petrini came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by Bolivia's Alfonso de la Cruz. But to his dismay, Alfonso de la Cruz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. After a rather tough play, Bolivia's Eduardo Fontirroig got a free kick in the 56th minute. In the 61st minute, Thanasit Morpeak got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Pongsakorn Pimphapun in the 63rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Camilo Freixa, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 66 minutes into the match, Chanboon Saedan dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Camilo Freixa, 1-5. In the 69th minute, Thanasit Morpeak ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Camilo Freixa was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-6. 72 minutes into the game, Sadayut Thanateerasud was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Olympique de Marseille's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bolivia the free kick. Chanboon Saedan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 76thth minute of the game Chanboon Saedan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bolivia's Camilo Freixa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chanboon Saedan in the 78th minute of play forced Bolivia's goalkeeper Camilo Freixa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Chanboon Saedan struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Camilo Freixa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Olympique de Marseille. Sadayut Thanateerasud could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Camilo Freixa made a huge save. Camilo Freixa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pongsakorn Pimphapun in the 93rd minute of the match. Francisco Gallo kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match.
