Tor Echegoyen made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Julian Murillo sent off a good shot on target. Marcelo Pello made in the 22nd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Arni Urb however managed to control. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Momentum FC's goalkeeper Tor Echegoyen, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Julian Murillo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Julian Murillo got free with Tor Echegoyen in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Tor Echegoyen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 36th minute of the match. In the 36th minute of the match, Julian Murillo tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Tor Echegoyen saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Tor Echegoyen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Murillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 43rd minute, Efraim Gilabert hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Benedicto Eladio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eliseo Martxel during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 45th match minute, Momentum FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eliseo Martxel to maneuver through the defense.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Arsenio Azibar to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Luz Tejedor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tor Echegoyen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 53 played minutes Momentum FC got a freekick which was hit by Eliseo Martxel. But to his dismay, Eliseo Mina quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. In the 80th match minute, Momentum FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eliseo Martxel to maneuver through the defense. Tor Echegoyen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Milagros Fraga, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Rolando Noboa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vincent Abubakar, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. In the 93rd minute, Rafael Gallo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Peru fully deserved thier win.
