Stade Ygossais were furious when Jackson Plet was red carded, 23 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Stanley Wallace could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Anthony Vaissière made a huge save. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kyle Davies was the one to do the kick off. Stanley Wallace fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anthony Vaissière having to interfere. In the 54th minute the ball was on its way in behind Stade Ygossais's goalkeeper Anthony Vaissière, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Eugène Guiguet recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Stade Ygossais's Anthony Vaissière played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stanley Wallace in the 63rd minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 72 minutes, Bruno Barrett successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Anthony Vaissière showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kyle Davies in the 77th minute of the match. Lochlan Newman made in the 80th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Stanley Wallace however managed to control. In the 81st minute Kyle Davies shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anthony Vaissière saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kyle Davies in the 83rd minute of play forced Stade Ygossais's goalkeeper Anthony Vaissière to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The throw-in from Bertie Johnson in the 85th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Stade Ygossais's Morgan Ayad. Éthan Lecacheur struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Bruno Barrett didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Stade Ygossais. 93 minutes into the game, Curacao's Stanley Wallace nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Anthony Vaissière made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Curacao had won after a very even match.
