Ezequiel Pereira's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marco Day read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. Cassius Byrne sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 32 minutes of play, USA's Cassius Byrne made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Daniel Anaya was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 38th minute Cassius Byrne shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniel Anaya saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jenson Smith hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Daniel Anaya took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Monty Rogers, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 44 minutes into the match, USA's goalkeeper Marco Day had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ezequiel Pereira.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ezequiel Pereira was the one to do the kick off. After some careless play in the USA defense, Ezequiel Pereira kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marco Day. The USA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marco Day should have stopped the shot. Lobo Guará's Willian Caca-Rato was substituted for Berker Başhekim. Lobo Guará's Aykut Adar was substituted for Kerimhan Özonder. Lobo Guará's Willian Caca-Rato managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Monty Rogers in the 66 minute of the game. After a rather tough play, USA's Diego Bradley got a free kick in the 70th minute. 72 minutes into the match, Ciro de Moraes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marco Day. USA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ciro de Moraes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. Daniel Anaya showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Monty Rogers, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Lobo Guará's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jenson Smith ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 88th minute of the game Diego Bradley made a throw-in which Khalid Parry played forward. 91 minutes into the game, USA's Sam Campbell nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Daniel Anaya made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-4. Daniel Anaya showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Khalid Parry in the 95th minute of the match. USA played a much better game than Lobo Guará and deserved their victory. The Lobo Guará players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
